On Wednesday 22nd June, the whole of Year 2 went on a Science and Art trip to Haldon Forest. Trips and visits are a crucial part of learning, and we are so glad that our classes were able to go. They had a brilliant day, and our children found the natural environment very inspiring. The art was inspired by an artist called Andy Goldsworthy. He uses natural resources in the environment to produce art. The children impressed all the adults who went with them. Thanks to Miss Humphreys and Mrs Howell.
Kyzer told us "I had a great time on the minibus. We made a picture of a kite with sticks, leaves, pine cones and rocks. It was a good day!"
Issac told us “I have never been on a school trip before and I felt very excited. I had an amazing day. We went for a walk, ate lunch together on the grass and made art in the woods. It was the best day ever!“
Well done everyone.
