Some parents might be aware that on Wednesday two of our older pupils didn’t arrive at school after leaving home to walk to school together. Thankfully, due to the quick action of their parents, police and school procedures they were found safe and well and returned to school. Following this incident would seem a sensible time to remind parents that if your children don’t attend school for any reason you need to phone the school first thing in the morning and let us know. If you don’t call we will try every way we can to contact you as this is part of our safeguarding procedure and how we ensure children arrive at school safely. If you, or one of the contact names you have given us, are contacted by school staff please be cooperative. Please also so ensure your contact details are up to date, it is your responsibility as a parent to make sure school can contact you should we need to for any reason. Thank you for helping us ensure all children are safe.
